Inverness report

We came from behind to beat Inverness at a very foggy Firhill.

Thistle were slow to start and Ross Tokely headed the visitors in front after just seven minutes.

Caley could have added to the lead but the Thistle defence and Jonny Tuffey, and then the crossbar denying Caley a 2nd goal before the break.

But in that respect Thistle also deserved to be level with Inverness keeper Ryan Esson putting on a masterclass between the sticks to twice deny Steve Lovell

McCall introduced much-missed Stephen McKeown to the side in the second half and it changed the flow of the game and we equalised in the 53rd minute, Jamie Adams heading an Ian Maxwell cross beyond the despairing Ryan Esson.

Stevie Lovell had been on song the entire game with Esson denying himin the first half but he eventually opened his Thistle account with a superb finish from a great through ball.

Thistle were holding on a bit at the end but in the end we got the win that moves us to within two of the top.

Love-ll is all you need.
